Colorado Pikas - August 2001

Annie lives on Mt. Audubon

"Hi, I'm Annabelle."
You may call me Annie. That is short for Annabelle.

I prefer to gather small mouthfuls. That means I have to run back and forth extra fast in order to build my haypiles. The snow will come soon. I must hurry.

These are my neighbors' homes on Mt. Audubon.

If I run up the trail a little way, I can look north to Long's Peak. Can you imagine how many pikas live between here and there? View of Long's Peak from Mt. Audubon
