Dolly, Molly & Annie the Mansfield Moose
It was a happy day
when Dolly and her yearling daughter Molly showed their faces in the Mt.
Mansfield woods. It was April 2001 and the snow was still three feet deep.
I skied to find them every day for over a week as they wandered from napping
places to nibbling spots. Since the moose and their surroundings were
so brown, I used unexpected colors in some of the paintings. Along came Annie in 2005. For the photo
