Greeting: I picked a yellow flower to celebrate your day. And then it smelled so good, I ate it right away!
Words on Back: Pikas are furry little creatures who live in rock piles high in the mountains of western North America. They are related to rabbits and are about the size of large hamsters. Pikas have distinctive rounded ears, luxurious whiskers and no visible tails. They say eeenncck! Blossom lives very high up at the Rock Cut on the Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park (12,000 feet). She endures incredibly severe winters in anticipation of summer’s precious flowers. Some animals head up the mountains in springtime to enjoy the meadows and cool weather. Pikas stay put in their high altitude homes all year.
